EXPERIENCE MATTERS

Melanie’s responsibilities with the firm include managing accounts receivable, filing monthly and quarterly tax returns and providing office support to the attorneys at Stroup Meengs. Her previous experience has included working as a legislative aide in the Michigan State Senate, a lobbyist for the Michigan Department of Treasury, a development officer for Hope College and fundraiser for the Harbor Springs Area Historical Society. Melanie is a graduate of Michigan State University. 


As a mother of two children, Melanie is very involved in their extra-curricular activities and enjoys volunteering in the local schools. She and her husband Bill also enjoy traveling with their children and relish living in beautiful northern Michigan.
